As Co-Lead Experience Designer on the project, I worked closely with a fellow UX Designer and a UX Researcher to create a data dashboard and insight experience that is modular, digestible, scalable, and shareable. Our design principle is to deliver a metrics experience that effectively communicates value to our users—one that empowers them to tell impactful stories with actionable next steps.

 

Our top success criteria with the Inform experience is to ensure the data our users receive feels inspiring, alive, and digestible—versus a set of content-heavy Excel sheets that are hard to decipher and analyze. Additionally, we want the quality of the Inform experience to be one that our users feel confident in and can quickly capture and share with their audience and network. 

 

Because this Inform experience is part of the IBM Consulting Offering Management ecosystem, I took the lead to ensure all UI/UX and visual components are designed with a deliberate sense of unity and inspired by the new visual & experience system guidelines.

 

Additionally, all design decisions are inspired and guided by the IBM Design Language and Carbon experience patterns.
